KYM WHITLEY
Born in Sudan, Khartoum, Kym E. Whitley is funny, talented, and driven. These are just a few of the qualities that define quadruple-threat actress, producer, director and stand-up comedienne Kym E. Whitley. Proving she isn’t just another pretty face, Kym created and co-hosted her own evening talk show on BET entitled “Oh Drama!” These same qualities have made her an in-demand player, starring alongside some of Hollywood’s elite in such box office hits as Fun With Dick and Jane, Along Came Polly, The Perfect Man, Deliver Us From Eva and Next Friday.

After a scene stealing run as the hilarious, wisecracking secretary in the UPN comedy series “Sparks”, Whitley became a staple on television guest-starring on such popular shows as the breakout hit “Grey’s Anatomy”, HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, which got her Emmy nods, Lifetime’s “Missing”,  Disney’s “That’s So Raven”, ABC’s “My Wife And Kids”, UPN’s “Love Inc.” & “The Parkers” and the underground smash “The Boondocks” on the Cartoon Network.

Whitley was added to the cast of FOX"S "Til Death" starring Brad Garrett. The FOX execs asked Kym to join the 3rd season of the show, as JB Smooth's wife, which proved to be a hilarious match.

With all this talent, it comes as no surprise that Whitley’s career continues to flourish with several upcoming television and movie projects. She co-starred with Martin Lawrence and Raven Simone in the film, “College Road Trip.” She is also featured in the blockbuster movies "Transformers 2" and "I Love You Man".

In addition to her film and television appearances, Kym performs side-splitting stand-up routines weekly at “Ladies Night Live” comedy night at Comedy Union in Los Angeles, CA with her co-host, Kim Coles.
 Whitley also owns and operates Kwick Whit Productions and has several projects in development.
